Roof installations

In February 2026, the roof installations for the VzDI's methane pyrolysis plant were successfully completed.

Since the building permit became legally binding in October 2025, the building installations have been running at full speed. The components installed include a noise-protected chiller and a safety flare, which is used to adjust the gas mixture and for emergency shutdowns.

The flare was designed so that flaring takes place inside the combustion tube to minimize noise emissions.

With these advances, the commissioning of the plant in the Tech Cluster Zug is another important step closer.
